What audio can the decoder handle?
Clean, single-tone Morse recordings — a practice beep from a speaker, a generated WAV, or a tidy recording of a code-practice session. WAV and MP3 files up to 25 MB are supported, plus live microphone input.
Is my audio uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is read and analyzed entirely inside your browser — nothing is sent to a server, and closing the tab erases everything. The microphone works the same way.
What if detection fails?
Open the Tuning panel and set the tone frequency manually (common practice tones are 400–800 Hz) or adjust the threshold. Recordings with heavy background music, voices or multiple signals are out of scope for v1.
Does it work on noisy radio recordings?
Not reliably. MorseAtlas v1 targets reasonably clean, single-tone audio with roughly standard spacing. Heavily faded or noisy radio traffic needs dedicated radio software with narrow filters.
